The objectives of the program are to secure the livelihoods of rural poor and vulnerable communities by building and enhancing their adaptive capacity to better cope with adverse impacts of climate change and improve their disaster preparedness. The idea is also to improve the service delivery systems and promote multi-level policy dialogues and general awareness to climate related impacts. IC works in association with three national partners. The field level activities are in the states of Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
