Organisational changesMs. Rupa Mukerji has left IC, India in June 2011 to join HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation as Co-Head for its Advisory Services division. From 1st June Dr. Joy Elamon has taken charge as CEO of ICSD. 

New projects

Small Ruminant Value Chain Analysis Project re-launched  -

To carry out the second cycle of the SR project,  ICSD has entered into partnership with WASSAN so that learnings from the first cycle of the pilot could be put into test.  This was formally launched 30th Sept at Bomraspeta village, Mahabubnagar.

National Case Study on Decentralisation and Equity in Child Rights:
UNICEF South Asia Regional Office is carrying out a study on ‘Decentralisation and Equity in Child rights’  and Dr. Joy Elamon has been entrusted by UNICEF to carry out the India part of the study with the various tasks. 

UNICEF Rajasthan Regional Office has contracted ICSD to facilitate “Devolution of Powers to Panchayats” by providing feedback to the government for working out a Road Map.

Mid-Term Evaluation of the GOI-UN Joint Programme on Convergence in three states – Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa:
IC has been contracted by UNDP to  undertake this task.
